Twin Toes release their debut single "Lost in Playlists", a track that combines dynamic musical textures with a lyrical pastiche of streaming playlist titles.
« Drifting apart… Alone Again… Lost in the Woods... » when set next to each other form sentences and tell of a heartache that one tries to drown in music. While these modern formulas invoke moods that transcend their original intent, titles such as "My Life is a Movie" reveal the absurdity of an industry of ready-made solutions for complex human problems. 

With this clever first single, the Brussels duo of Antoine Geluck and Nicolas Mouquet introduce a multi-layered pop universe inspired by the indie waves of the 2000s, videogame soundtracks, and their slightly disillusioned observations of our time. 

About Twin Toes:

It all started on a Monday morning in January 2019, when Antoine invited Nicolas to his home studio in Brussels. By pure coincidence, forty-eight hours earlier and 120 kilometers apart, they had both broken the same index toe on their respective left foot. Their previously discussed idea of forming a music duo had received a sign from the Universe!

Twin Toes is a series of happy accidents and serendipities - a joke that took the form of a pop duo. Their songs are imbued with a multicolored and surreal atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of the beauty of dry sausages and the absurdity of existence. They could well become the pioneers of a new avant-garde genre, "Foot Pop ».
